Scholar Program, recognizing Scholar Athletes and Activity Scholars who are graduating seniors at OSAA member schools.
The Scholar Program recognizes graduating seniors who have achieved a 3.50 or higher unweighted cumulative GPA and earned a varsity letter in an OSAA-sanctioned sport or competed in an OSAA-sanctioned activity.
All graduating seniors in the Scholar Program are eligible to apply for one of six college scholarships – two winners will receive a $5,000 scholarship and four winners will each receive a $1,000 scholarship. Winners will be selected based on success in the classroom, leadership in the community, how participating in OSAA activities has either taught them a lesson or helped them achieve their goals and two letters of recommendation.     APPLY

Fibre Federal Credit Union is offering 7 scholarships to graduating seniors and/or those students returning to college for the 2022/2023 academic school year.

The (6) $1,500 academic scholarships and the $2,000 Jim Stacie Memorial Scholarship may be used at any accredited college, university or trade school and there are no restrictions on course of study. To qualify, applicants must be a credit union member. Applications will be judged on quality/completeness of application, financial planning/need, academic standing, and extracurricular activities. The Jim Stacie Memorial Scholarship is awarded on criteria listed above, as well as leadership qualities.  All applications submitted are considered for the Jim Stacie Memorial Scholarship.This year scholarship applications can be obtained, completed, and submitted online at  or, under the community tab.

April 15, 2022 We the Students Scholarship Contest The Contest is open to all United States citizens or legal residents who are students who are no older than 19 and no younger than 14 as of the end of the Contest Period who (1) attend school in the United States, one of its territories or districts, or an American Armed Forces School Abroad, and (2) who are in grades 8 -12 attending public, private, religious, or charter schools, or (3) are enrolled in a GED or correspondence school program, or (4) are attending a home school program.


April 30, 2022 Oregon Central Coast PFLAG GSA Scholarship Awarded to honor and encourage Lincoln County students for their service to the LGBTQ Community.  Scholarships may be used for post-secondary education at accredited colleges, universities, and vocational schools and will be paid directly to the school.

April 15, 2021 American Legion Legacy Scholarship  The American Legion Legacy Scholarship is a needs-based scholarship designed to fulfill a financial gap remaining after all federal and state educational grants/scholarships available to an eligible applicant have been utilized.


Children of U.S. military members who died while on active duty on or after Sept. 11, 2001.

Children of post-9/11 veterans having been assigned a combined disability rating of 50 percent or greater by the Department of Veterans Affairs also qualify.

March 8, 2021 Sallie Mae Bridging the Dream Scholarship The Sallie Mae Fund’s Bridging the Dream Scholarship Program for High School Seniors helps make the dream of higher education a reality for outstanding students from minority and other historically underserved communities.

High school seniors who are facing financial challenges may apply to win a $10,000 scholarship to help them attend college or a vocational-technical school.


March 17, 2022 Harrington Foundation Scholarship Established in 2014 by Oregonian and former NFL quarterback, Joey Harrington, the four-year renewable scholarship is awarded each spring to four Oregon high school students who are emerging leaders and plan to continue their education at an in-state college or trade school. Four scholarships will be issued for the 2021/22 academic year. Each scholarship is worth $4,000 per academic year for a total commitment of $16,000 per student. To learn more about HFF’s mission visit

To be considered, applicants must submit a completed application online, which includes a one-page personal essay and two letters of recommendation. Transcripts are not required, nor requested by HFF. There is no application fee.

The application deadline for the 2021 academic year is March 17, 2021. Scholarship recipients will be notified via phone by the first week of May 2021.

Students may apply if they meet ALL the following requirements:
    1. Plan to earn a bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. 4-year college and have one of the following academic statuses:
      • High school senior graduating spring 2021
      • Current freshman or sophomore student at a 4-year college
      • Community college student planning to transfer to a 4-year college in the fall of 2021 (Note: Financial awards will not be given while in community college but will begin with the first term of enrollment at the student’s transfer 4-year college)
    2. Be a first-generation college student, defined as a student whose parent(s)/legal guardian(s) have not completed a bachelor’s degree (see FAQ section for more).
